The textbook Slovenska beseda v živo 2 for intermediate courses of Slovene as a second and foreign language, was designed as a sequel to the textbook with the same title for beginners’ courses of Slovene as a second and foreign language. The material requires 200 to 240 lessons; however in some cases more lessons could be necessary. It is not intended for self-learning: the programme of the textbook should be carried out with a teacher. The textbook is accompanied by a CD with recordings of various texts from the textbook. The additional exercises intended for practice, revision, and acquisition of grammar as well as vocabulary are set out in a workbook.
