NASLON is an interactive textbook for learning Slovene at a beginner level, designed for adult migrants. It is intended for adults who already live in Slovenia, as well as for those who are planning to move to Slovenia. In addition to learning the language, it enables learners to become familiar with Slovene society and culture. The textbook is designed so that it can be used for self-study, for learning with a teacher, and is also suitable for a combination of both methods.

The content of the textbook is based on the actual communication needs of newly arrived adult migrants in the early stages of their life in Slovenia. It includes vocabulary, common conversational examples, and texts that individuals are most likely to encounter in official situations.

The textbook was developed as part of the project Naslon – Nadgradnja spletnega tečaja Slonline – mobilno in spletno učenje slovenščine za priseljence (Naslon – Upgrading the Slonline Online Course – Mobile and Online Learning of Slovene for Migrants), co-financed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia.
