Introduction

The Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language publishes a range of academic and professional materials: proceedings of academic gatherings (Obdobja Symposium, Seminar of the Slovene Language, Literature and Culture), and reference books and course books for learning Slovene as a second or foreign language.

Beside new textbooks, the Centre is systematically preparing a range of extra study materials, some of which are available in electronic format. The Centre also publishes various occasional printed materials, presenting specific programmes or the Centre as a whole, as well as information about current events and projects. Publications are presented at book fairs in Slovenia and abroad (Slovene Book Fair, Slovene Book Days, the academic book fair Liber.ac, Prague Book Fair).
