The programmes of the Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language provide comprehensive specialist support for Slovene as a second or foreign language and for Slovene language, literature and culture, as well as promoting Slovene Studies internationally.
The Centre works under the auspices of the Department of Slovene Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Its activities are organised into eight special programmes and are co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
By 15 May 2017 members of Slovene ethnic minorities in other countries and descendants of Slovene expatriates and emigrants can apply for the following scholarships:
Candidates who do not have Slovene background, but are actively engaged in Slovene culture or in some other way contribute to the promotion of Slovenia in the world can apply by 1 May 2017 for one of the scholarships of the Jana Zemljarič Miklavčič Scholarship Trust for the Summer school. More…
