The programmes of the Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language provide comprehensive specialist support for Slovene as a second or foreign language and for Slovene language, literature and culture, as well as promoting Slovene Studies internationally.
The Centre works under the auspices of the Department of Slovene Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. Its activities are organised into eight special programmes and are co-financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.
Slovene language exams at the A1 level planned for January 2021 are cancelled and postponed due to the Covid19 measures.

You are invited to attend the 40th international academic symposium Obdobja entitled Slovene Poetry, which will take place from 17 to 19 November 2021. Deadline for application: 10 February 2021. More about Symposium is HERE.
We have opened the applications for our online courses. We are inviting you to join the Intensive Course of Slovene in June and the Summer School of Slovene in July.
We would like to inform you that prices will increase slightly from January 1st, 2020. The course price will also include materials. New prices are listed on the Courses for Adults entry page.
