Getting to Ljubljana

From Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport

Traveling by train or bus
Every day many buses and trains travel to Slovenia from several European cities.

Public transport in Ljubljana

City bus
In order to use the city bus you need to buy Urbana City Card available for EUR 2 at the main bus station, at any newsstand and at the self-service machines called “Urbanomat”. Single fare (EUR 1.30) enables free transfers within 90 minutes. The monthly card costs EUR 37.

Bicikelj
You can ride around Ljubljana using bicycles from Bicikelj, a self-service rent-a-bike system. The first hour is free of charge; the weekly registration fee is EUR 1.00, the yearly EUR 3.00.

You can use the WiFreeLjubljana network free of charge for 60 minutes a day in the Ljubljana city centre.

Ljubljana Tourist Card
With the tourist card you can visit more than 15 attractions, use the city bus, go on a guided city tour and use a wireless internet connection. There are 24-, 48-, and 72-hour cards.
