The scholarship, which is 650 EUR, covers the costs of attending the course. Applications for grants must include personal details about the candidate and reasons to support the demand. We will only consider applications written by candidates themselves. Applications for scholarships must be sent by 13 February 2023 by post (to the address of the Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language) or by email (firstname.lastname@example.org). Results will be given by 22 February 2023.
The following will be taken into account:
- Slovenians in neighbouring countries and children of Slovenian emigrants (proven Slovenian origin) – pupils enrolled in secondary education in the country in which they live
- the number of grants received by applicants in the past
- participation in Slovenian organisations/institutions
Candidates who have never been awarded a scholarship for Slovene language courses organized by the Center for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language and are students of the last two years of secondary school have priority. We make an exception for those candidates who have proved to be excellent students in the courses organized by the Center for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language.
