Courses for Adults

Slovene language courses are intended for those whose first language is not Slovene, however, they wish to learn it for different reasons. We offer various ways of learning Slovene in a stimulative environment, with experienced teachers and quality materials. We have more than 30 years of experience in the organising of courses and thousands of satisfied participants.

Slovene Language Courses Online

We have opened the applications for our online courses. We are inviting you to join the Intensive Course of Slovene in June and the Summer School of Slovene in July.

Registration and payment

You can apply for a course by completing the application form on our website (first you have to choose a course) at least two weeks before the desired course begins.

After we have received the application form we will send you the invoice by regular mail or E-mail. The language course must be paid in full no later than 10 days before the beginning of the desired course. More…

Course Locations

The courses run at different locations in Ljubljana.
Certificate of Attendance

An 80-percent attendance is required in order to receive an official Certificate of Attendance of a Slovene language course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana. More…
Scholarships

Members of Slovene ethnic minorities in other countries and descendants of Slovene expatriates and emigrants can apply for the scholarship. More…
Participants

Anyone with an interest in learning Slovene is very welcome. However, participants must be at least 18 years old. More…
Accommodation

Accommodation is organised for the Youth Summer School participants only; for all other courses accommodation must be organised by participants themselves (it is recommended that you do so prior to your arrival to Slovenia). More…
