The Besedila in besedi\u0161\u010de za ju\u017enoslovanske govorce sloven\u0161\u010dine kot drugega jezika 1.1<\/em> is part of the Slovenian 1+ learning curriculum. It is intended for international students participating in the first year of studies at the University of Ljubljana as part of the Leto plus module, engaging in two semesters of Slovenian language instruction for non-native speakers. The materials cover seven basic topics encountered by South Slavic speakers at the beginner level of learning. Each unit consists of activities for acquiring vocabulary and communication patterns, along with some short texts for reading comprehension. An important component includes tasks for written and oral communication.<\/p>\n

At the end of most units there are phonics exercises and some sociocultural information to better understand the environment in which students live and study.<\/p>\n

The materials are designed for use with a teacher, but to some extent, they can also be used independently, as solutions are provided at the end. It corresponds to learning Slovenian over one semester or 45-60 contact hours. Following Besedila 1.1<\/em>, the next phase involves working with another volume, Besedila 1.2<\/em>. Both volumes are encompassed by Sloven\u0161\u010dina 1+: Slovni\u010dne tabele in vaje<\/em>, forming the Sloven\u0161\u010dina 1+<\/em> learning set.<\/p>\n
