The online classes are similar to the ones in a regular classroom. Your teacher is going to be with you live and will answer your questions. The teacher will give you various tasks.\u00a0There will be plenty of opportunities for conversation, phonetic exercises, grammar tasks, reading, listening and writing activities.<\/p>\n<p>We will send you the the learning material\u00a0via regular mail or e-mail. From time to time, teachers will email you the learning material that they will prepare for your group, so it is advisable to have a printer at home.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IN ORDER TO ATTEND THE ONLINE CLASSES, YOU NEED:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a good internet connection,<\/li>\n<li>a computer with a camera and a microphone,<\/li>\n<li>printer (recommended),<\/li>\n<li>and a quiet room.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/centerslo.si\/za-otroke\/tecaji\/o-poteku-tecajev\/\">More about course organisation &#8230;<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"price\">\n<h2>Price: EUR 845<\/h2>\n<p>In each group there are 6 to 10 students.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"accordion\">\n<li>\n<h3>Registration and Payment<\/h3>\n<div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>You can apply for the course with the application form at least 10 days (till <strong>20 February 2026) <\/strong>before the course begins. After we have received your application form, we will send you the invoice by e-mail.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0language course\u00a0must be paid in full before the beginning of the course. You should send your payment receipt via\u00a0<a href=\"mladinski.tecaji@ff.uni-lj.si\">e-mail<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Cancellation<\/h3>\n<div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>In case of a cancellation, please put it in writing and send to our address at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the course. Once we have received your cancellation in writing we will return\u00a0<strong>80%<\/strong>\u00a0of the paid tuition fee in 30 days. We retain 20% of the paid amount for administrative costs as well as the cost of bank transactions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Scholarships<\/h3>\n<div class=\"accordion-content\">\n<p>The Government Office for Slovenians Abroad gives special scholarships for participation in the course for Slovenians from neighbouring countries and for the children of Slovenian emigrants from further afield. <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"sl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">The scholarship, which is 820 EUR, covers the costs of attending the course.<\/span><\/span> Applications for grants must include personal details about the candidate and reasons to support the demand. <strong>We will only consider applications written by candidates themselves.<\/strong> Applications for scholarships must be sent by <strong>18 February 2026<\/strong>\u00a0by post (to the address of the Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language) or by email (<a href=\"mailto:damjana.kern@ff.uni-lj.si\">mladinski.tecaji@ff.uni-lj.si<\/a>). Results will be given by <strong>25 October 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4>The following will be taken into account:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Slovenians in neighbouring countries and children of Slovenian emigrants (proven Slovenian origin) &#8211; pupils <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"sl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">enrolled in secondary education in the country in which they live<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li>the number of grants received by applicants in the past<\/li>\n<li>participation in Slovenian organisations\/institutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Candidates who have never been awarded a scholarship <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"sl\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\">for Slovene language courses organized by the Center for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language and are students of the last two years of secondary school\u00a0<\/span><\/span>have priority.
