The textbook set \u010cas za sloven\u0161\u010dino 1<\/em><\/strong> is aimed at youngsters from age 12 who are at beginners level in Slovene. It is made up of a text book and a workbook. The content relates mainly to school and social life, as well as life in Slovenia. There are five extensive units with numerous themes where learners learn how to introduce themselves and their families, their school environment, to communicate in typical school situations, to describe a regular day and what they do in their spare time, as well as how to ask others about these things. With the help of examples and model texts they also learn how to write short narratives about themselves and very simple texts. The material is meant for use in class: there are 80 hours of material for speakers of Slavic languages and around 180 hours for those who speak more distant languages. The language level learners are expected to achieve by using the material is roughly A1 on the Common European Framework of Reference.<\/p>\n
