Summer Slovene Course for Children (1. – 12. 7. 2024)
The Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana invites children aged between 8 and 11 to visit Slovenia this summer to take a course in Slovene. The course begins on Monday 1. 7. 2024 and ends on Friday 12. 7. 2024.
COURSE AND DURATION:
- four 45-minute lessons a day, 40 hours altogether
- Monday to Friday, from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm
LOCATION:
Srednja vzgojiteljska šola in gimnazija Ljubljana, Kardeljeva ploščad 28a, Ljubljana
PRICE: 431 EUR
If the group has less than 8 students the fee changes. The courses are going to be held only if at least 6 students participate.
REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT:
You can apply for the course with the application form or by email ([email protected]), by 24 June 2024 at the latest.
CANCELLATION:
In case of a cancellation, please put it in writing and send it to our address at least 7 days prior to the beginning of the course. Once we have received your cancellation we will return 80 % of the paid tuition fee in 30 days, and retain 20 % for administrative costs as well as the cost of bank transactions. Cancellations received later than 7 days before the course will not be taken into consideration.
PARTICIPANTS:
The course is intended for children aged between 8 and 11 who are at beginners level in Slovene. Before starting the course we will send a placement test. Based on the results of the test, participants will be divided into different groups. Each group will consist of between 8 and 12 participants.
