Slovene course for students of the University of Ljubljana!

You should attach to the application form a proof that you are a student of the University of Ljubljana (a photo or scan of the certificate of registration or letter of acceptance for the academic year 2024/25).

Course and duration

  • summer term: 7 March–4 June 2024 (no classes: 29 Apr–3 May)
  • winter term: 8 October 2024–16 January 2025 (no classes: 28 Oct–1 Nov, 21 Dec 2024–5 Jan 2025)
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.00 to 7.30 pm
  • 60 hours (48 contact hours and 12 hours of homework)

  • Certificates

    Certificate of Attendance

    At the end of the course you will receive an official Certificate of Attendance of a Slovene language course at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana.

    Credit points

    After successful completion of the course students are awarded 3 ECTS (European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System) credit points.

    Certificate of Slovene

    If you want to obtain an official certificate of Slovene you can take the Exam of Slovene at the Examination centre of the Centre for Slovene as a Second and Foreign Language.

  • Participants

    The course is intended for foreign students, studying at the University of Ljubljana. You should attach to the application form a proof that you are a student of the University of Ljubljana (a photo or scan of the certificate of registration or letter of acceptance for the academic year 2022/23).

    You can apply for the course with the application form. After we have received the application form we will send you a placement test​.
